“Ahmad Assaf” and “Sireen Shanwani” Winners of the Wedding Bonanza Competition
After approximately two months of exciting and entertaining rounds, “Ahmad Assaf” and “Sireen Shanwani” were announced as the winning couple of the 2009 Wedding Bonanza Competition.
The winners were announced in a celebration held on Thursday, July 2 at City Mall – the exclusive venue of the competition’s events.
Organized by Mazaj and BEAT FM 102.5 , the Wedding Bonanza is a compassionate initiative geared towards young couples offers those intending to get married the chance to hold their nuptials without bearing its financial burdens. The competition winners will be presented with a variety of valuable gifts, including: A 2009 Nissan QashQai presented by Bustami & Saheb; a honeymoon in Bali presented by Maltrans Travel & Tourism; diamond wedding jewelry set presented by Kayali; apartment furniture presented by elite; home appliances presented by LG; a wedding dress presented by MoriLee; in addition to a fully-fledged wedding at Intercontinental –Jordan Hotel with DJ and recording equipment from Music Box. The winning couple also received a series of monetary prizes from the Arab Jordan Investment Bank (AJIB).
The two winners were able to complete the various stages and score the highest number of points among the participating 900 couples. The competition’s panel of judges relied on several measures in their ratings, including listener’s votes, the couple’s ability to handle certain tasks and their responses to compatibility tests.
The couple expressed their tremendous joy at the announcement, which is considered a “dream come true.”
Mazaj and Beat FM 102.5 announced that, due to the immense popularity of the contest, the Wedding Bonanza will have a third year running in the summer of 2010.
