Mr. Abed Alaziz Yaman, CEO of ART, has been awarded “The CEO of the Year” in media sector at this year’s CEO Middle East –KSA awards. The award was presented by Mr. Walid Akawi, ITP‘s CEO, at the inaugural CEO Middle East-KSA awards in Riyadh on March 22ed.
Mr. Yamani received the award during a Gala Dinner held at the InterContinental Riyadh on 22nd March 2009. The ceremony featured over 250 attendees from the business community, their companies, senior government officials and special industry guests attending.
Accepting the award Mr. Yamani said: “This recognition is a testament to the dedication shown by the people of ART in their quest for excellence and dedication to consistently delivering superior work”; further adding “We thank ITP for this award which is an important and valued accolade for ART”.
Yamani, added “The recognition given to ART highlights the importance of developing media and PTV in the region to sustain its robust growth. It underscores the need for a long-term vision and substantial investments on the continuous development of media professionals, which will in turn help spur the continued growth of the economy, especially in media sector which have been one of the key drivers of the region's economic growth.
The inaugural CEO Awards KSA launched by ITP to recognise and reward outstanding success, innovation and ethics across Saudi business. The awards designed to honour CEOs through the appreciation of innovative business, business excellence and overall business success. This in in addition to publicly acknowledging the vital contribution made by individuals and their companies to the vibrancy of business within Saudi Arabia and across the region.
