FLY Sport, a local Jordanian sportswear Fashion Design & manufacturer, was selected by the organizers of the 1st Amman International Marathon (AIM) to be the Official Sportswear Sponsor. FLY Sport & Power Hut gym and fitness, joined forces International Marathon by providing the participants with clothing and to become the sole sportswear and gym sponsors of the 2009 Amman accessories of the highest quality.
FLY Sport is one of many brands produced and owned by FLY Culture, a local Jordanian lifestyle company that was established in 2008. FLY Sport garments are designed and tested to meet international quality standards. Produced locally by a team of experts who has 10 years of experience in manufacturing popular clothing brands for the U.S. and European markets such as GAP, Disney, Target, Polo, and many others.
Power Hut, which was established in 1989 in Amman, was one of the first gym and fitness facilities to open it doors to the public. As a 100% Jordanian brand, FLY Sport has taken the initiative to be one of the partners for the AIM in order to emphasize on the importance of the local private sector role in supporting such national initiatives, especially when that initiatives goals is promoting athleticism and a healthier lifestyle, which coincides with one of FLY Sport objectives; in addition to assisting in promoting the key element for the marathon, which is raising funds and awareness for several charitable organizations within Jordan.
