10% Incentive Discount for the Citizens to Settle the Financial Dues to GAM by the End of Next September

Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) called on the citizens to take advantage of the incentive 10% discount of the value of their previous dues, provided that they be paid during July, August, and September 2010. 
The discount decision has been taken after the approval of the Council of Ministers on the Acquisition and Properties Committee’s decision at GAM to give citizens incentives to settle their dues.
The Executive Financial Director at GAM, Ramzi Bukhari, said that the dues include those amounts imposed previously or those to be collected by 2010. He also clarified that the discount will be granted to citizens who pay their dues before the date 30/9/2010, according to the issued decision.
GAM previously gave the endorsed citizens an incentive discount with 20% of the due fees value to GAM to be paid during the first quarter of the current year, in addition to 15% discount for the second quarter ; these dues include pavement works, stairs, sidewalks, fences, walls, water boxes, … etc.
   
 GAM called on citizens with due taxes and fees to pay the accumulated amounts and to take advantage of the discount, especially that these payments will be used in projects and municipal services that shall promote the city urbanely and for initiatives launched to serve the society and the human element, and at the same time, avoid any legal measures.
