ALBAWABA - Ten people, including women and children, have died and five more have been injured as a consequence of an Israeli attack on southern Lebanon.
The Israeli military reportedly attacked a cement factory in the industrial zone close to the village of Kefur Shimali in the Nabatieh Governorate, according to the Lebanese national news agency NNA.
The deaths were verified by a statement from the Public Health Emergency Operations Center in Lebanon, which also mentioned the deaths of a woman and her two children. Two of the five injured individuals are reportedly in critical condition.
The bulk of the casualties, according to the NNA, were Syrian refugees.
Israeli bombings in Gaza claim the lives of at least 11 Palestinians.
Local reports stated that the Israeli military killed at least 11 Palestinians in a series of nighttime airstrikes that hit several areas around Gaza.
Throughout the night, Israeli airplanes attacked several locations in Gaza, escalating the current confrontation.
One of the attacks occurred in the southern gate of Ez-Zevayide village in central Gaza, which is home to tents housing displaced Palestinians, according to the Palestinian news agency WAFA. At least ten persons lost their lives as a result of this assault, while several more were hurt.
One person was killed and other others were injured in another airstrike that struck a private house in the northern Gaza community of Sheikh Rıdvan.
Tents containing Palestinian refugees in the vicinity of the Hamed region in the southern city of Khan Younis were also attacked, and a home close to the European Hospital was bombed, resulting in further injuries.
