Algeria temporarily evacuated nearly 100 Turkish road workers east of Algiers after a militant threat, security sources told Reuters on Monday.
Officials said the 24-hour evacuation was a precaution from a threat that came from affiliants of Daesh (ISIS). Concerns over the extremist group's increasing presence in North Africa have grown after an attack in Tunisia killed 22 people in the capital's museum.
The employees returned to the Kabilye region Monday.
