Algerian Health Minister, Mourad Redjimi headed Sunday to Djelfa province where he announced the formation of a board of inquiry to find out the persons who are responsible of the recent death of 13 infants at Djelfa hospital.
According to APS, the government's representative received explanations on the circumstances of this accident and listened to the complaints of the medical profession.
The meeting, which brought together persons in charge of the medical sector, in presence of the local authorities, was an occasion for the Minister to present his condolences to the infants' families before stressing that this "regrettable situation must be resolved after the board of inquiry finishes its mission."
