Fifteen people were killed, including women and children, as a bus ploughed into a van loaded with barrels of paraffin and burst into flames, a newspaper said Wednesday.
Al-Tamim said the accident occurred on the road from Baghdad to the northern town of Kirkuk last week. Eight people survived the blaze unhurt, while seven were hospitalized with injuries.
Local police said the same stretch of road had already claimed 20 lives in three accidents earlier this year – BAGHDAD (AFP)
