ALBAWABA - On Saturday, Israeli airstrikes on northern and central Gaza residential dwellings killed 18 Palestinians and injured or disappeared several more. The beleaguered territory is further devastated by the new attacks.
In the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood northwest of Gaza City, an Israeli home hit early Saturday morning killed 10 Palestinians and wounded others. Hours later, another airstrike killed seven and injured several at the Kahil family home in Al-Rimal, central Gaza.
Six people purportedly buried under the rubble are difficult to rescue. Since the escalation, at least 85 civil defense troops have died due to limited supplies and relentless bombardments.
Israel has increased bombardment in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza, causing significant damage. Residents stuck in the area have repeatedly requested aid as Israeli authorities prevent food and medical supplies.
Israeli airstrikes and artillery fire have destroyed structures in Jabalia, northern Gaza, amid tank and drone fire. Meanwhile, Safatwi, a northern Gaza City neighborhood, reports similar demolitions and civilian evacuation.
Strip-wide attacks
Israel damaged Al-Nuseirat and Al-Bureij camps in central Gaza with artillery and naval strikes. The offensive destroyed residential buildings in Rafah, southern Gaza.
Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli war on Gaza has killed or injured nearly 149,000 Palestinians, including many women and children. Over 10,000 people are missing. The widespread destruction, starvation, and lack of resources have compounded one of the worst humanitarian disasters in recent history, according to international experts.
