Twenty-eight young Saudi men have each received 15 lashes in public for harassing girls in shopping areas and outside schools, The Middle East reported, quoting Al Iqtissadiya newspaper.
The men were arrested by special squads deployed in markets and at major shopping centers in several cities of the kingdom over recent weeks, said the paper.
Ten men were flogged in Mecca, five in Medina, six in Riyadh and seven others in Mujamma, north of the capital. Most of them were caught outside girls' schools.
