A shooting at a Walmart store in Beavercreek, Ohio, left four people injured and the shooter dead.
The shooter, who has not been identified, opened fire inside the store, injuring four people. Three of the victims are in critical condition, while a fourth has non-life-threatening injuries.
The shooter then died of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Police are still investigating the motive behind the shooting, but they say there is no indication that the shooter knew any of the victims.
"This is a horrific tragedy," Beavercreek Police Chief Jefferey Jewell said in a statement. "Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families."
The Walmart store has been closed, and police are asking people to avoid the area.
"We are heartbroken by what happened at our Beavercreek, Ohio store. We want to thank our associates and customers for their cooperation with law enforcement. This is an ongoing situation, and we will continue to provide updates as they become available," Walmart said in a statement.
