About fifty Egyptians returning from Saudi Arabia after performing Omrah were killed Friday when the bus they were travelling in crashed near the Jordanian coastal city of Aqaba. According to SPA, a civil defence official stated that about 50 persons, among them women, died in what may turn out to be Jordan's worst ever traffic accident.

The deadly incident came after the driver lost control of the bus on a road located about 350 kilometres south of the capital Amman. The vehicle overturned and immediately caught fire, apparently killing all those inside. (Albawaba.com)
