ALBAWABA- Nine people were shot Sunday evening at a popular restaurant in suburban Phoenix, Arizona, according to local police.
The incident occurred around 7:45 p.m. at El Camaron Gigante Mariscos & Steakhouse in Glendale, prompting a large emergency response.
Glendale Police Officer Moroni Mendez confirmed that officers responded swiftly after receiving multiple reports of gunfire at the busy eatery.
While the exact number of victims is still being confirmed, initial estimates suggest approximately nine people were shot. The medical conditions of the victims remain unknown.
Authorities believe more than one shooter may have been involved. No suspects have been arrested yet, but several individuals are currently being questioned as part of the ongoing investigation. The motive for the attack has not been disclosed.
