947 Tons of Iranian Dried Fruits Exported in one Month

During the last Iranian month (Aug. 22-Sept. 21), some 947 tons of dried fruits were exported to eight countries. 

Karim Madadi, deputy head of the Standard Office of Maragheh, was quoted by Iran Daily newspaper Sunday as saying that these items include various kinds of raisins worth 2,111 million rials. 

“These items were exported to Canada, Britain, Poland, Belgium, Russia, Lithuania, Kuwait and UAE and show an increase of 210 tons, in comparison with the corresponding figure of last year.” – Albawaba.com
