More than 3,000 mourners gathered in Yarmouk refugee camp in Damascus Tuesday for the burial of Palestinian leader Abu al Abbas. Israel rejected a Palestinian request to bury him in the West Bank. Abbas, 56, died March 10 in U.S. custody in Iraq.
