The newest hot spot for weddings in the capital sees Abu Dhabi’s first luxury boutique hotel’s party packages booked months in advance.
The 110 room property boasts comprehensive ballroom and entertainment facilities including the Abu Dhabi Grand Ballroom - which is 924 sq metres in size, has a built-in stage and can cater for up to 500 people sitting down banquet style – to create the most memorable events for every occasion.
The resort also features 24 luxurious royal villas, a second ballroom, ample pre-dining areas and offers the most culturally diverse brigade of chefs in Abu Dhabi.
According to general manager, Kamel Zayati, a visually stunning setting, the on-site hair and beauty services and an exceptional choice of menu are among the prime reasons that Al Raha Beach Hotel has become a key wedding venue in the capital.
“Word has quickly spread about our magnificent ballroom and excellent wedding packages. With the recently opened Elie and Jean salon our offering is complete as the bridal party can have hair, makeup and beauty treatments at leisure prior to the big event without having to leave the hotel.”
Included in the wedding package is an overnight stay in a Royal Suite for the couple, with rose-petal Jacuzzi and free chocolates, as well as an invitation back to the hotel for dinner as a first anniversary present.
Manager in charge of weddings, Fatima Al Gizouli, confirmed that word of mouth has been the largest factor for the hotel’s popularity for weddings.
“The Al Raha Beach Hotel has hosted many lavish events for couples that have exposed thousands of guests to the luxurious atmosphere we create. These family members and friends, in turn, have spread the word and often one wedding will result in up to seven bookings the following day for future events. To experience Al Raha is to love Al Raha,” she said.
Al Raha Beach Hotel is operated by Danat Hotels & Resorts, the umbrella brand for the hotel division of National Corporation for Tourism & Hotels (NCT&H).
Danat Hotels & Resorts, a division of the Abu Dhabi-based National Corporation for Tourism & Hotels (NCT&H) manages two new five-star resorts, the Danat Resort Jebel Dhanna and the Al Raha Beach Hotel, as well as a cluster of four-star properties in the emirate. The hotels are either owned and/or managed by the group, or where the group is the owner-representative.
The National Corporation for Tourism & Hotels (NCT&H) was formed in 1996 in response to the need to develop both tourism and commerce in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), especially Abu Dhabi.
The Corporation was formed as a semi-government organisation. NCT&H’s primary objective is to promote Abu Dhabi as an international destination, manage hotels and provide transportation and industrial catering services.
