Abu Khader Automotive, exclusive distributor and representative of Cadillac, HUMMER, GMC, Opel, Fiat, and Mitsubishi Fuso in Jordan, recently offered its full support to Basel Al Wazani, a student of Graphic Design at Petra University’s school of Art and Architecture .
Aiming to play a pivotal role in the elevation and advancement of education offered to Jordanians, Abu Khader Automotive extended its support to Basel by offering him full access to its showrooms and all the information he needed to design a promotional campaign about the Fiat Panda, the subject of his graduation project.
While working on his project, Basel paid regular visits to Abu Khader showrooms where he took photographs of the Fiat Panda. He then used the captured images of the vehicle to create designs for posters, leaflets, pamphlets, and brochures. These designs were discussed at his graduation project presentation which was held at the university campus and in the presence of Dr. Hani Al Huneidi, Head of the Graphic Design Department, alongside fellow students, and other members of faculty. In an effort to further encourage youth initiatives, Abu Khader also awarded Basel with more than one sentimental gift and a JD 1000 worth discount on the purchase of his first Fiat Panda.
“We are proud of the achievements made by Basel who displayed exceptional talent, the main reason behind our granting him full support. We see ourselves as front line supporters of Jordan’s educational sector, as we believe that the students of today are the leaders of tomorrow” said Mr. Raed Muti, General Manager of Abu Khader Automotive.

We hope that our initiative will serve as a source of encouragement for our youth, and that this project will help them effectively unleash the power of graphic design as a powerful medium of expression” he added.
From his end, Basel Al Wazani thanked Abu Khader Automotive for their generous support, and also added that he wouldn’t have performed as well as he did in his presentation if it weren’t for them. “The Fiat Panda’s innovative sleek yet sportive design served as my source of inspiration, and I thank Abu Khader for their generous gift. This gift will make it easier for me to own the car at some point in the future, and being an admirer of its design and ability I would be very proud to” he added.
