Adel Imam has moved to Al Ajami in Egypt to put the final touches to the script for his next movie Amir El Thalam (The Prince of Darkness).
So far, Imam has nominated Samir Seif to direct the movie, which costars Yusra.
Yusra and Imam have starred in various movies together including Al Avocato (The Avocado), Al Mansi (The Forgotten), Al Irhab Wal Kabab (Terrorism and Kabab) and Tuyour El Thalam (Martyred Birds).
This new movie marks the first since Imam became honorary ambassador to the UNRWA. The movie is also the first experience Abdul Fatah Al Biltaji and Tamer Abdul Minem have had in writing a script.
The Prince of Darkness tells the story of one of the heroes of the Egypt’s October who lost his sight during a shelling. However, the hero, played by Imam, never gave up and carved his road in life until he accidentally finds himself in the midst of a terrorist circle. The terrorists are aiming at assassinating Imam’s neighbor, an ambassador, and he later finds himself trying to save his neighbors life.
Imam is currently busy performing his most recent play, Al Body Gard or (The Bodyguard) alongside Raghda – Albawaba.com.
