Tirad Mahmoud, CEO of Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB), a top-tier Islamic financial services group, announced today that the bank has won the 'Best Private Sector Customer Service Team' Award at the 2010 UAE Customer Service Week forum held by The International Customer Service Institute UK under the Patronage of United Arab Emirates.
This tribute underscores ADIB's substantial improvement in service quality and recognizes the significant development that ADIB has brought in service delivery during the last two years.
Commenting on the award, Tirad Mahmoud, CEO, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank said: "This is another endorsement of the fact that our customer service standards have improved considerably over the last two years and a clear indication that we are moving in the right direction. Earlier this year, The Ethos Benchmarking Results Survey for UAE banks showed that ADIB excelled in improving service quality and is amongst the Top 3 Best Improved Banks of the 28 Banks surveyed.
The Customer Service Week forum is devoted to recognizing the importance of customer service and honouring the people who work on the frontlines serving and supporting customers and citizens. Its objective is to grow and raise customer service standards through awareness, education and sharing of international best practice. It has enjoyed a successful run in mature service quality markets worldwide since 1988.
ADIB has won four industry awards this year including the Best Islamic Bank in the Middle East. These awards reflect ADIB's leadership position in the growing Islamic Finance Sector.
