adidas putts out in celebration of brand anniversary
Global sports company teams up with its golf brand TaylorMade for fun golf clinic
adidas, the world’s leading sports retailer celebrated its local brand history on the Al Badia golf course yesterday.
Juraj Stiksa, head of sales, Thomas Beck, head of operations, Eduard Massier, head of marketing and business development, Jason Thomas, head of finance together with other members from the regional team in Dubai headed to the Four Seasons Golf Club at Dubai Festival City before nightfall to take part in a TaylorMade golf clinic on the prestigious new course.
Sporting adidas’ golf apparel, which uses the brand’s unique Climacool technology to keep players cool during the hot summer months, the adidas team tried and tested the newest TaylorMade golf clubs and equipment. After a few hours of playful competition and a series of golf drills, the staff retreated to the magnificent Spikes Bar where they enjoyed a wonderful view overlooking the golf course and were rewarded with team and individual prizes.
TaylorMade is part of the adidas group and boasts its own Performance Lab at the Golf Academy of the recently opened Four Seasons Golf Club. The facility is undoubtedly one of the region’s most effective coaching tools, helping to analyse a player’s swing characteristics using the most advanced of technology.
adidas commemorates its 10th anniversary as an established sports retailer in Dubai this month, having built up a strong network of seven Sport Performance and Sport Heritage stores across Dubai and maintaining its hard-hitting presence throughout the region.
