Adobe Systems Incorporated, a leading global software and technology solutions provider, has appointed Jacob Alex as its Middle East Channel Manager as part of its aggressive regional channel development strategy.
Alex joins from Grapheast Computers, Adobe’s sole distributor and licensing company in the Gulf and Levant, where he was Product Manager for six years. With an IT and design career spanning 15 years, Alex will be responsible for driving Adobe’s regional channel expansion.
“Alex’s local and regional expertise in the mid-market space will enable us to develop key partnerships in this increasingly competitive market and implement exciting new initiatives to support the channel”, said Adobe’s Regional Manager, Andrew Lindströrm.

In his new role, Alex will target vertical sectors significant to Adobe’s business focus that include government, retail, and financial services which are emerging as new large-scale implementation sources. Additionally, he will support the company’s internationally succesful anti-piracy campaign that encourages legitimised software usage.

Alex, an Indian national, who has been in the Middle East for more than 13 years, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science and a Diploma in Multimedia, Web designing and Computer Applications. He has extensive regional experience including stints in Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain and Jordan and has been part of various campaigns and channel development programmes.
