The adrenaline rush returns to Abu Dhabi...
The adrenaline is surging following from the successful first edition of Adrenaline Sports Live in November 2008, and UBMi UAE has been overwhelmed by the support from the local travel, tour and adrenaline sports industries. Adrenaline Sports Live 2009, presented by Rani will run at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre from the 8th – 10th of October this year, with another thrilling line-up of events, activities and demonstrations of adrenaline and adventure sports.
The festival is an opportunity to showcase not only adventure and adrenaline sports available in the region, but also the burgeoning adventure tourism industry. Matt Tarrant, Show Director for Adrenaline Sports Live says; “For the first time, the festival will dedicate an area solely to holidays, tours and travel related to adventure tourism – giving tourism bodies, travel agents, holiday shops, and destination management companies an opportunity to interact directly with consumers wanting to incorporate adventure sports into their short and long-term breaks. From skiing holidays in Lebanon, to diving in the Red Sea in Egypt, visitors to the show will be spoilt for choice!”
Another specialist area at the show will be the retail area giving manufacturers and suppliers of sporting products, clothing, accessories and lifestyle products an opportunity to sell direct to their end-user. With two industry powerhouses already confirmed, this promises to be a huge hit with visitors wanting to purchase the products and lifestyle brands associated with adrenaline and adventure sports.
Once again, visitors to the festival will have the opportunity to not only watch the professionals in action demonstrating some of the hottest new adrenaline sports, but will be able to try these sports for themselves. Whether these are land, water, or air-based adrenaline sports – visitors will have their pick of some of the most adrenaline pumping activities available. Adrenaline Sports Live, presented by Rani will once again assist and promote local non-profit sporting clubs and associations at the show, in order to create a UAE-wide adventure and adrenaline sports community.
And that’s not all; running alongside the festival will be the Barbican Turbo, the region’s premier tuning and custom car and motorcycle festival – giving exhibitors access to a huge base of their target consumers.
