AED 1 million worth of prizes given away on first day of ‘Eid in Dubai’ mega raffle

Ten lucky shoppers had a memorable first day of Eid Al Adha as their names were called out in the inaugural draw of the Eidyat Dubai Mega Raffle organized by the DSF Office during ‘Eid in Dubai’. Anxious crowds thronged the Grand Atrium - the draw venue in Dubai Mall - on Monday, December 8, as the winning coupons were picked from the raffle boxes. The exclusive three-day raffle will end on December 10.
The biggest story of the evening was that of Egyptian winner Hussam Mohammed Hafiz whose coupon with the number 1741634 was the last one to be picked even as he and his family were watching the draw live at Dubai Mall. Hussam obtained two coupons after shopping for AED 400 and dropped them in the raffle boxes just hours before the draw began.
