An Afghan was beheaded Wednesday in Riyadh after being convicted of smuggling heroin into the kingdom, the interior ministry said.
“Saed bin Shali Gouhad, an Afghani national who had carried a fake passport under the name of Khan Shah Ali Murjan, was beheaded after being convicted of smuggling heroin into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,” said the statement, carried by the official Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The culprit was convicted by the court and the verdict was approved by the cassation court and the supreme judicial council, it added – Albawaba.com
