agility fairs & events wins annual iela award
Agility Fairs & Events Malaysia picked up the prestigious International Exhibition Logistics Associates (IELA) Best Onsite Agent Award at the IELA Congress 2007 held recently in Santiago, Chile.
The company’s Thailand and Singapore offices came second and third respectively. Agility Fairs & Events Singapore also won the third place in the Best Export Agent category.
The IELA awards were set up to allow IELA companies to survey the service quality of other IELA agents. The IELA Best Onsite and Export Agent Awards are unique in the mode of voting where members of the organization, many competitors themselves, decide on the winners. This makes the awards even more coveted as each company is then rated through a points system based on the quality of services provided during the year.

The IELA organisation was formed to establish standards of performance for contractors involved in the physical movement of material to and from an exhibition site, as well as for contractors providing customs clearance, lifting, handling, trucking and storage services on-site.
Agility’s Thailand office previously won the award three years in a row from 2003 to 2005 and the Singapore office picked up the award in 2002.
