The leading global logistics provider Agility today announced its 100 per cent acquisition of the Danish, CF Geologistics A/S. The Copenhagen-based forwarding specialists are known for tailor-made air and ocean freight solutions. The company has a strong customer base, especially in the chemical, pharmaceutical and technological industry sectors. With a highly dedicated staff of 17 employees, the CF Geologistics office solidifies Agility’s coverage in Northern Europe.
Denmark is embedded in Agility Europe’s Area North, which includes Sweden, Norway, Ireland and the UK. Customers will benefit greatly from the strengthened North European presence which will also allow complete access to Agility’s global network and capabilities.
CF Geologistics has been acting as a joint venture partner and agent for Agility since 2004, with Agility having a 29 per cent stake in the company. It will now be fully integrated into the Agility organisation and will operate under the Agility brand. The company will also have access to all carrier programs and support services, such as tender management, sales and marketing and operations excellence.

Along with complete access to the global services portfolio of Agility, customers of CF Geologistics will also profit from the different combined synergies of the organization. Carrier costs will be optimized through existing air, ocean and road freight operations especially those of Agility Sweden; along with supply chain management solutions and design resources.
