Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Tuesday that the Zionist regime is manifestation of state terrorism, genocide and crimes.
Addressing the First International Congress on the Culture of Resistance, inaugurated in Tehran Tuesday morning, he regretted that despite the systematic crimes being perpetrated by Israel in Lebanon and in the Palestinian territories under various pretexts, it enjoys full support from certain bullying powers.
"In the meantime, the same powers term the legitimate defense of the Palestinians and legal resistance of the Lebanese nation to Israeli aggressions as terrorist operations," the president said, according to IRNA, adding that they talk in a way that the Zionist regime is a peace-seeking regime and the Palestinians are terrorists.
As to critical situation in Afghanistan, Iraq, Palestine and Lebanon, President Ahmadinejad said, "Several hundred people fall victims of terrorism in these countries each day".
