Ajman City Centre, the leading community centre located in the heart of the Emirate, recently celebrated its 8th year anniversary. Inaugurated in 1998 the Centre now encompasses 29,310 sq. metres of retail space featuring over 68 shops, 19 restaurants and cafes, a 13,620 sq metres, Carrefour Hypermarket, a dedicated leisure and entertainment centre in Magic Planet, six cinemas and an outdoor car parking facility for 1500 vehicles.
To celebrate its 8th Anniversary the centre has launched a special ‘Seasons of Celebration’ promotion, planning a host of activities, events and festive entertainment over the next few weeks to encompass the festive season which includes the Centre’s 8th Anniversary, Christmas, New Years and the Eid holidays. For every Dhs. 100/- spent at any combination of retail stores in the Centre, shoppers will get an entry into raffle draws to win Dhs.10,000 every week for four weeks. These draws will take place every Friday at 8 p.m.
“The malls positioning has changed dramatically over the years and the Centre as a whole has evolved significantly with footfall almost tripling since its opening. Sales have also soared in line with this and market penetration is over 65% making it an excellent location for retailers.” commented Jassim Al Khajah General Manager, Ajman City Centre. “Many of our retailers have been with us since our opening eight years ago and have seen the Centre grow from strength to strength and we want to thank them for their continued support,” added Al Khajah.
Some key retailers who have been with the centre since its inception includes Damas Jewellery, Oriental Stores, McDonalds, Areej, Mothercare, Adams, Early Learning Centre and Giordano.

We were there when the first stone was laid; we have seen the Centres developments, renovations, changes and additions of tenants and the high regard it has created for itself in order to grow to its current level.
