Egyptian President's Political Advisor, Osama al-Baz said in statements published Thursday that he expects Qatar and Mauritania to break their relations with Israel at any moment due to the Israeli actions against the Palestinian people, reported Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).
Al-Baz told the London-based Arabic daily Al-Shraq Al-Awsat that the decision of the latest Arab summit was not only a war of words without any real actions.
“The final communiqué of the summit included a number of measures against Israel, and expressed outright support for the Palestinian people in their uprising that was caused by the Israeli stubbornness,” al-Baz said.
Morocco and Tunisia cut their ties with Israel last week in protest of Israeli aggression on Palestinian people.
Oman was the first country to announce such a measure when Israel bombarded the West Bank city of Ramallah and the Gaza Strip two weeks ago – Albawaba.com
