al diar records 30 % growth in room occupancy during summer promo with etihad

Abu Dhabi National Hotels (ADNH) announced today that Al Diar Hotels’ fourth joint summer promotion with Etihad Airways has resulted in a 30 percent increase in room occupancy.
“Since we started this annual promotion with Etihad Airways four years ago, we have seen a steady growth in room occupancy of the Al Diar chains during the promotion period,” said Khalfan Al Shamsi, Manager of Marketing and Public Relations, ADNH,. He added that the growth is attributed to a 50 percent discount off the normal room tariffs, the convenient location of all the Al Diar Hotels in Abu Dhabi and Fujairah and the offer of free tickets from Etihad to any destination chosen by lucky winners of a daily raffle at the hotels.
The promotion, which will run till the end of August this year, has already awarded tickets to many lucky winners.
Bassam Ali, owner of a real estate company and a hairdressing chain in Abu Dhabi, expressed his excitement at winning the free ticket from Etihad. “Al Diar Hotel has always been my first choice when booking an accommodation for business clients and for holding business meetings. I am very pleased with the hotel’s quality and standard of service. I am, most of all, happy to use my free ticket to fly to Europe this winter to enjoy the snow, thanks to this promotion.”
A Jordanian resident in Dubai, Saladin Hussein, who frequently spends his weekends and holidays at Al Diar Regency in Abu Dhabi could now travel further for a good break. “I am very excited about winning the free ticket and to fly with Etihad Airways. I am planning a trip to the Philippines to spend one week with some relatives there,” said the beaming Hussein.
The summer promotion, which commenced last month, allows all guests checking-in at any property of the Al Diar Hotels the chance to win a free ticket from Etihad Airways. The lucky winner of the daily raffle will have the opportunity of flying to any of the 43 destinations across Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, North America and the Middle East with one of the region’s most prestigious airlines. They will also benefit from special summer promotional rates of 50% discount off the normal room tariffs.
The promotion is currently running at all of the Al Diar Hotels in the UAE, Al Diar Sands, Al Diar Capital, Al Diar Dana, Al Diar Mina, Al Diar Regency and Al Diar Palm in Abu Dhabi and Al Diar Siji in Fujairah.
