Imam and Preacher of Al Haram Mosque in Mecca, Dr. Omar Abdullah Al Sabil, hailed efforts being exerted by UAE President Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, especially his sending of UAE students to perform Omrah (minor pilgrimage), at his own expense.
According to Emirates News Agency, during a lecture organized by the Abu Dhabi Educational Zone mission, Dr. Al Sabil stated that Sheikh Zayed's gesture would contribute in raising good Muslims, at a point in time when Islam and Muslims are being subject to various foreign attacks. (Albawaba.com)
