Al-Markazia Central Trade and Auto Company, the exclusive dealer for Toyota, Lexus and Hino vehicles in the Kingdom, sponsored the Science Day at Jubilee School last week.
The Science Day included various activities related to science education, including science trivia contests between students, IQ tests, a showcase of environmental projects prepared by the students, in addition to comprehensive lectures to students of various ages.
Al-Markazia sent one of its engineers to the school to give students an overview of the new technology used in hybrid vehicles, how it works and how it preserves the environment. The company also distributed gifts to students to motive them to work harder in order to realize their full potential as productive citizens of Jordan.
Students and teachers alike expressed their gratitude to Al-Markazia for supporting this event. Ms. Nada Naser Aldeen, a teacher of geology at the Jubilee School, said: “We invited Al-Markazia to sponsor the Science Day because we believe that it is one of the most companies that frequently exhibits interest in supporting educational initiatives organized by schools in the Kingdom. We thank Al-Markazia for meeting our request with high attention and prompt action”.
Nadim Haddad, the Marketing Manager at Central Trade and Auto Company, said: “At Al-Markazia, we believe in the importance of education, therefore we are committed to supporting initiatives geared toward broadening the knowledge of school students around the Kingdom. The Science Day at the Jubilee School is considered one such initiative.”
It is worth mentioning that Al-Markazia had previously invited the students and teachers of Jubilee school to visit its showrooms during the Environmental Week organized in February. The Environmental Week was organized in cooperation with various environmental organizations such as RSCN and Entity Green (EGT), which organized a series of environmental awareness lectures tailored to each age group and communicating essential guidelines on environmental preservation.
