ALBAWABA - In a significant development, the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military arm of Hamas, has released footage depicting rocket launches allegedly conducted from southern Lebanon targeting Israeli locations.
According to the Al-Qassam Brigades, the rockets fired from southern Lebanon were aimed at Israeli military positions in the northern region of occupied Palestine.
This footage, obtained exclusively by Al Jazeera, marks the first visual evidence of Al-Qassam's rocket launches originating from outside the Palestinian territories during the ongoing Aqsa Flood campaign.
The video captures multiple rocket barrages raining down on identified Israeli targets, underscoring the group's capacity and reach.
Just days earlier, Al-Qassam Brigades communicated through the Telegram messaging app that they had executed a targeted rocket strike on the command center of the Eastern Brigade in the Israeli Givati Camp near the border. This strike was reportedly launched from positions in southern Lebanon.
Earlier today, The Yemeni Armed Forces have declared, in support of the Palestinian cause, that the fourth phase of their resistance against Israeli aggression has begun. This occurs when tensions in the area are rising and there is still fighting in the Gaza sector.
The Yemeni Armed Forces, led by Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badreddin al-Houthi, plan to attack any ships breaking the Israeli maritime embargo and headed to occupied Palestinian ports in the Mediterranean Sea. This robust military action is a response to Israeli and American aggression and reluctance to maintain a truce.
With immediate effect, any ships linked to the provision of supplies and entry into the Palestinian ports under occupation would be subject to severe penalties by the Yemeni Armed Forces. These ships will not be allowed to sail through the area of military operations, regardless of their country.
