Algeria and South Africa host 18th World Petroleum Congress

Algeria and South Africa are co-hosting the 18th World Petroleum Congress, which is being held for the first time in Africa. Liberte Algeria reports that the event is organized by Algerian Petroleum Company Sonatrach and South African PetroSA in conjunction with other leading petroleum companies in the region such as National Oil Cooperation of Libya and Nigerian National Petroleum Cooperation. World Petroleum Congress, which will be in progress until September 29, will see the participation of the 62 member countries of the World Petroleum Council (WPC).
