Algeria gets ready to 26the African Judo Championships

Mohamed Meridja, the president of the Algerian Federation of judo, has held a press conference concerning the participation of the national judo teams (mails and females) in the upcoming 26th Championships of Africa in Judo, scheduled to take place in Port Elizabeth, “the friendly city”, on May 18 to 21.

 

<i>EL Moudjahid</i> reports that during the pres conference, which was also attended by the teams' technical staff, including of Nacer Ouarab, Ahmed Foamed (boys trainer) and Bouhaddou (girls trainer), Mohamed Meridja presented the teams (7 team members and one substitute in each team, boys and girls) that will take part in the Championship and explained the staff’s choices. The teams, he concluded, have good chances to succeed and that "they will do everything they can to win te African title."
