New Zealand's fullback Christian Cullen scored two tries to lead the resurgent All Blacks to a convincing 25-12 win over South Africa in their Tri-Nations clash on Saturday.
New Zealand, however, failed to produce a repeat of the exhilarating running rugby they displayed in last week's thrilling win over Australia in the southern hemisphere series opener.
But after Cullen had touched down twice in the first quarter of an hour, they were always in the driving seat and they never looked like relinquishing control.
Flyhalf Andrew Mehrtens landed his eighth Test drop goal -- an All Black record -- to help the All Blacks to a 19-12 lead at half-time.
Mehrtens' third penalty and one from replacement Tony Brown, allowed the home side to extend their winning margin in a lackluster second period – (AFP)
