Almasa IT Distribution, one of the leading hardware distribution and network solutions specialists in the Middle East, today announced that Wednesday 28th September saw an evening of glitz and glam for the Maxtor annual awards ceremony, which was held this year at the MIX Grand Hyatt Dubai, in honour of resellers in the region achieving outstanding performance for Maxtor.
Maxtor and Almasa come together once a year to hand out the Recognition for Outstanding Achievement 2005 awards to the five most active and developing resellers which achieve the largest growth in Middle East & North Africa, over the last twelve months. The five winners for the Maxtor Awards for 2005 were; Majestic from Egypt, Kourty Informatique from Algeria, Blue Bell Computers, Metra and Plug-Ins all from the UAE.
Handing over the crystal awards was Mr Mehdi Amjad President and CEO of Almasa and Mrs Anne Le Scouezec Marketing Manager for Maxtor EMEA. Standing on the stage at the glittering evening event, Mr Amjad said, “Maxtor and Almasa see this annual event as a good opportunity for all resellers and partners to come together and enjoy a night of entertainment and celebrate the handwork they have all put in over the last year.
