Amadeus, a global provider of technology and distribution solutions to the travel and tourism industry, today announced that Yemen Airways, has successfully implemented the Amadeus Access Update supporting Dynamic Schedules.
The Amadeus access update will allow Yemen Airways to load and update schedules in real-time, and ensure a secure synchronization of flight schedules between Yemen Airways & Amadeus. For travel agencies this agreement offers maximized sales opportunities with provision of real-time information availability to travel agents. It also increases their flexibility and avoids lost sales as Amadeus displays are always synchronized with the airline inventory and reduces manual handling and processing errors.
The implementation is the result of a 10 year distribution agreement that was signed in 2009 between Amadeus and Arab Air Carriers Organization, of which Yemen Airways is a carrier member.

Amadeus Yemen is a joint partnership with Yemen Airways, the national carrier which accounts for 55 per cent of reservations made by travel agencies in Yemen. The new company which commenced operations in the beginning of this year reinforces Amadeus’ reach and market strength as the preferred technology partner to travel agents and airlines in Yemen.
