Amara at Park Hyatt Dubai has recently launched a new Spa Menu.  Depending on your personal needs, our spa concierge will custom design an Amara spa programme just for you, based on the healing properties of the most precious “Jewels of Arabia”: Diamond (Energy, Clarity, Revival), Emerald (Detox, Cleanse, Heal), Ruby (Restore, Anti-Ageing, Revitalise), Sapphire (Relax, Calm, Balance).

A magnificent tribute to ancient Moorish palaces, the white exterior and royal blue domes of Amara offer a welcoming entrance into this private and secluded spa, where new exotic rituals have been created to stimulate the senses, soothe and rejuvenate.  A unique sense of place is offered at Amara: the hushed spa walkways calm, the scent of the mixed spices allure, the lush gardens and courtyards captivate, and the swimming pool with evening oil lanterns reminiscent of “1001 Arabian Nights” delight.

Start your journey with a refreshing rain shower in your spacious spa suite’s private garden.  You can even share this experience in one of the couple’s suites.  This will prepare you for your rose petal hand and foot ritual.  Drift away with the surrounding euphoric aromas of the Orient, having chosen your own music from the music menu.  And this is just the beginning …

Surrender to the Amara experience, and indulge in the collection of exquisite journeys, rituals and individual treatments, presented to you as if they were rare gems:

Fine mists of pure gold (for cell regeneration) or silver (to support immunity) initiate this ritual.  Five distinctive clays are layered onto the body, combined with herbal poultices, before being wrapped in warm cotton.  A full-body massage using the oil infused with your chosen jewel completes this lavish experience.

Diamond - Clarity
Essential oils of rose, myrtle and neroli blended with camellia and evening primrose complement the full spectrum of colours offered by the diamond.

Emerald – Prosperity
Essential oils of vetyver, cedar wood and juniper join peach and jojoba as the brilliant green of the emerald releases the energy of the earth and encourages equilibrium.

Ruby – Vitality
An intricate blend of 12 oils, which include avocado, jojoba, and absolutes of rose and jasmine, harmonise with the passion of red rubies to banish negativity.

Sapphire - Tranquillity
Essential oils of chamomile, mandarin and clay sage combine with macadamia, sesame and sweet almond oils to enhance the pure power of the deep blue sapphire.

Alternatively, immerse yourself in the exquisite body treatments listed below:

The Arabian Pearl – 120 mins; AED 795
This signature ritual uses authentic Aleppo soap dating back to 8th century Syria.  A “kese mitt” is used to slough away dead skin as the olive and sweet bay oils in the soap leave you clean and refreshed.  A luxurious full-body massage with Amara’s signature aromatic oil enriched with frankincense, amber, myrrh and sandalwood then nourishes and replenishes.

Ceremony of Roses – 120 mins; AED 950
Roses have long been celebrated for their legendary healing properties and beautiful aroma.  A gentle almond body polish and a lavish rose milk bath are followed by a rose cream body mask that is applied and layered with warm wraps, followed by a full-body massage using organic “Damask” rose balm.
