Egypt’s President Hosni Mubarak is expected to visit Jordan early next week, the official Saudi Press Agency news agency reported Thursday.
Egyptian ambassador to Jordan, Mohammed Hijazi said President Mubarak would exchange views with Jordanian officials on the situation in the Arab region, especially the Iraqi crisis.
In a statement to journalists, Hijazi said the Jordanian-Egyptian talks come as part of ongoing efforts to reach a peaceful settlement to the Iraqi crisis. (Albawaba.com)
