The American University of Beirut Holds Volunteering Day 2009
The American University of Beirut (AUB) Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, the Student Representative Council, and the Center for Civic Engagement and Community Service are holding the AUB Volunteering Day 2009 on Thursday April 23 and Friday April 24 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm in front of West Hall.
The Volunteering Day, which will include an exhibition of community activities conducted by members of the AUB community, is an event that aims at benefiting non-governmental organizations (NGOs) as well as the AUB community: students, faculty and staff. On their stands, NGOs will also spread their message and AUB participants will exhibit their community projects.
