On Monday, Jordan denied reports by the Israeli army that one of its patrols came under fire from across their common border resulting in the wounding of a soldier.

The shots "did not come from Jordanian territory", Information Minister Mohamad Adwan told Petra news agency.

The patrol came under fire near Kfar Rupin in the northern Jordan Valley Sunday, according to the Israeli army. (Albawaba.com)
