U.S. envoy to the Middle East Amos Hochstein landed in Israel on Monday for talks with top officials over the ongoing conflict with Lebanon’s Hezbollah, in the wake of fresh threats by Israeli officials on expanding the war.
During his stay, he's expected to meet with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, President Isaac Herzog and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant.
Media reports have said that Hochstein might later visit Lebanon.
