Egyptian singer Amr Diab finds himself in somewhat of a tight spot.
The mega star received an offer of $5,000,000 for a 3-year exclusivity contract by the Arab Song Production company, only months after he had already signed with an Egyptian company for the same number of years.
According to ‘Roze Al Youssef’ magazine, Amr has asked the ‘5 mil’ company for time to ponder the prospect, which marks the record figure for an exclusivity contract presented to an Arab singer.
This means that the singer has now to choose between breaking his contract with the Egyptian company in favor of the new one.
If this happens, Amr would need to pay the undetermined penalty sum to the latter, who had innitially asked for a five year contract.
The amount of money Amr asked for forced the company to go for a three –year contract.
