apc-mge launches retail products at gitex shopper
APC-MGE announced today that it is launching retail products in the Middle East through its leading distributor, Key Information Technology, at Gitex Shopper, which runs at the Dubai Airport Expo from 6th - 12th September.
APC-MGE, a leading manufacturer of uninterrupted power supplies and critical power and cooling solutions, is retailing its range of power supplies and batteries, mostly used to support the mobile traveller. APC-MGE powers mobile devices such as laptops, digital cameras, iPods, MP3 players and cell phones to support the always on, always available business environment of today.
“The Middle East retail sector is showing excellent growth opportunities, and we have partnered with Key Information Technology to allow us to offer the specialist support and service that this sector requires. Globally, the retail sector is very important for APC-MGE, and with our new expanded sales operations in the Middle East we now have sufficient resources to allow us to professionally develop this sector. Our products have not been readily available in the Middle East before and we feel that Gitex Shopper is the ideal platform to introduce APC-MGE retail to the end users,” said Philip Hughes, Regional Director ME Zone, APC-MGE. “Additionally, the retail offering will feature strongly on our combined APC-MGE solutions stand at the main Gitex show itself,” Hughes added.
Key Information Technology is a long standing partner of APC-MGE and will be participating at Gitex Shopper in the East Hall this year. They will carry the whole range of APC’s retail products including APC’s Universal Notebook Batteries. Lightweight and portable, they are the only external notebook batteries designed to operate in a notebook case or beneath a laptop computer, giving mobile users more runtime for their computers while traveling.
