The Arab Instrumentation and Automation Exhibition (AIA), held simultaneously with the Oil and Gas Show (OGS) 2006, will address the increasing application of automation and advanced technologies in energy sector businesses seeking to streamline and optimize extraction and logistic procedures. Organized by International Conferences and Exhibitions (IC&E), the latest edition of the leading instrumentation exhibition will be showcasing technology to monitor and manage pipelines, support security, remotely monitor and manage seamless custody transfers.

AIA will be held concurrently with OGS 2006, the Arab world’s premier event for petroleum industry professionals, investors, equipment and technology providers, from September 10 to 12 at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre with the support of the UAE Ministry of Energy.

OGS 2005 incorporating the AIA exhibition segment saw 300 exhibitors from 35 countries mounting a comprehensive presentation of technology, services and equipment for over 7,800 specialist visitors drawn from the exploration, extraction, processing, storage, transportation, automation, instrumentation and control segments of the oil and gas industry. Additionally, the show also welcomed automation, instrumentation and control professionals from the fields of manufacturing, construction, communications and the public sector services providers.
