The finalists of Asian Cup Soccer Championship showed different reactions over Wednesday's draw, which took place in Lebanon, the hosting country for the 15-day-event that will kick off on October 12th.
The draw threw the twelve finalists in 3 groups, the first of which brings Lebanon with Iran, Iraq and Thailand.
"I think our group is just fine," AFP quoted Lebanon's technical manager, Joseph Skoplar.
The manager said he hadn’t previous experience with Iraq's soccer, but pointed out that the Hussein's Tournament, to take place in Jordan in May, will give him the chance to have a closer look at Iraq's performance.
On the other hand, Iran will go to Lebanon in October with nothing on mind other than the title.
"We will play to win our fourth title of the championship. We fear no one," said Iranian coach Jalal Talibi.
The second group puts Kuwait face to face with "the strongest teams" according to Sa'ed Himlan, the manager of Kuwaiti national team. He said the team needs extra hard training to stand up to the expectedly tough encounters with China, South Korea and Indonesia.
Prince Sultan Bin Fahd, Head of Arab Soccer Federation as well as the Saudi Soccer Federation said his country’s national team has a great challenge ahead as they have to play against Japan, Qatar and Uzbekistan -- (Several Sources).
