Arabian Radio Network (ARN), the region's fastest growing radio network and communications service, scooped two awards at the 'Ahlan 2010 Best in Dubai' held yesterday at the Le Royal Meridan, Dubai, UAE.

The first award recognizes young & innovative, 104.4 Virgin Radio as "Best Radio Station in Dubai" and the second award - a brand new category this year - recognizes Dubai 92FM's breakfast presenter CatBoy with the "Best Male Personality."

Commenting on the awards, Mahmoud Al Rasheed General Manager, Arabian Radio Network (ARN) said "These awards represent yet another milestone for us. At ARN, we appreciate our listeners' votes, and promise them even bigger, better things for 2011."

The Ahlan Best In Dubai Awards recognizes the finest the Emirate has to offer in hospitality, culture and social and initiatives. The winners were determined, not by a panel of judges, but by public vote.

"This is a major accomplishment for us and pays tribute to the levels of excellence that we have strived to achieve across the Emirate," Steve Smith, COO, Arabian Radio Network (ARN).

"Thank you to all our dedicated and loyal listeners who voted for us," said Steve Pulley, Head Of Programming. "The win is truly rewarding for our entire Virgin Radio team who have worked tirelessly to ensure Virgin Radio Dubai is the best," he concluded.
