Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak and Palestinian President Yasser Arafat are preparing to leave the Camp David peace talks Tuesday without an agreement, sources close to their delegations said.

"Barak is making plans to leave at 11:00 p.m. Washington time Tuesday (0300 GMT Wednesday) because the Palestinians have not agreed to the far-reaching American and Israeli proposals," said an Israeli official, who is in touch with the Israeli delegation at Camp David.

A Palestinian source said "the PLO (Palestine Liberation Organization) in Washington was called to make preparations for the departure of the delegation and they are already sending cars and vans to Camp David." – THURMONT, Maryland (AFP)
