Palestinian President Yasser Arafat has postponed a landmark trip to Syria in the aftermath of the massive attacks on the United States, his top aide Nabil Abu Rudeina said on Wednesday.
Arafat was scheduled to arrive in Damascus Wednesday for a two-day visit.
He was due to hold talks with Syrian President Bashar Assad and other senior officials.
Arafat’s visit to Syria has been delayed for a several of occasions.
He last mer Assad during the Amman Arab summit held in March – Albawaba.com
